CodeShop, a software company located in Amsterdam, helps companies to create and execute smart technology strategies.
We offer software design, development and project-management. Our focus is on media/entertainment, technological and social aspects of the software.
Previous projects include work on datamining, risk management and natural language search; we did code-audits and lately we’re creating audio/video streaming tools…, see the portfolio for a few stories.
If you have a great idea, but you’re not sure on how to proceed, please contact us – we’re up for the challenge!
Video Streaming
We are a leading provider of cross-platform video streaming technologies. CodeShop’s products are in operation around the world with customers ranging from broadcast networks and online content distributors to small companies and webcasters.
The ease of use and reliability of our solutions allow customers to shorten their time-to-market. Our solutions fit into existing frameworks (Apache, IIS, Nginx) thus allowing for greater return on existing investment.
Our video streaming plugins for Apache, Nginx, Lighttpd and IIS have their own pages. The currently available modules are:
Other products we provide are:

C++ libraries
We provide free and portable C++ source libraries.
We emphasize libraries that use or work well with the C++ Standard Library.
Our license encourages both commercial and non-commercial use: most of the libraries have a Boost like license – this license is OSR compatable, – others are GPL.
Getting started: CodeShop works on modern operating systems, including UNIX and Windows variants. Follow the Getting Started Guide to download and install the libraries.
Note: there is a similarity with Boost – this is intended!
